The mission of the Process Excellence and Automation team is to support operational teams within GFSS to provide world class efficient and effective services to our customers by improving and automating the processes they use.
Key to the role is to provide greater insight into the current ways of working by end-to-end process mapping, task mining, data analysis etc and then identifying potential improvements aimed at efficiency and/or effectiveness as well as executing those.
The team needs to closely partner with operational teams to help in achieving both efficiency targets or address other operational issues as per customer requirements as well as spread a continuous improvement mindset within GFSS.
The team also supports operational teams by organising and running CI and Automation related trainings, based on the skillset of the individual members.
For a team member to be successful in it necessary to have critical thinking and good communication skills and be able to influence stakeholders up to director level to drive change.
