Job Description:
Salary Range: £40,000 - £50,000
Leonardo UK operates a grade-based salary framework with broad bands. The salary range shown reflects the approved grade band for this role, or a narrower hiring range published within that band, and is benchmarked against the external market. Exceptions above the standard range are managed through governance controls to protect internal equity.
Your Impact
The IT Applications Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the effective operation, support, and continuous improvement of business applications by acting as a key interface between IT and the wider organisation.
The role is responsible for triaging and managing application-related requests and incidents, coordinating service desk activities, and supporting problem resolution through collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams. In addition to maintaining system performance, reporting, and service levels, the analyst contributes to project delivery by coordinating activities, supporting user acceptance testing, and providing early life support for new solutions.
The role also focuses on enhancing business processes through efficient use of technology, maintaining documentation, and ensuring clear communication, while operating with a high degree of autonomy to deliver reliable, customer-focused application services.
