A career without limits

As the nation’s flag carrier, we take great pride in connecting Britain with the world and the world with Britain.

It’s something we’ve been doing for over 100 years, ever since we launched the world’s first international scheduled air service between London and Paris.

This originality has been in our blood since day one. It’s the spirit we share with the people that fly with us, our partners, and our colleagues.

So, whether you are a reassuring voice on the end of a phone, a smile at the door, under a wing keeping the turbines spinning or landing us gently in far-flung places, a job at British Airways is yours to make.

We know great things can happen when you’re inspired to think big and bring your ambition to work every day, which is why, at British Airways the sky is never the limit.

The role:

Senior Supplier & Performance Manager – Ecommerce & Platforms

As part of the Ecommerce & Platforms leadership community, the Senior Supplier & Performance Manager is responsible for establishing and leading supplier governance, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and performance frameworks across the E&P directorate.
This role ensures that strategic suppliers deliver maximum value, performance, innovation and compliance across key digital and platform domains, including Indirect Platforms, Offer & Order, Digital Marketing & Content, Payments, CRM, Agent UI and ba.com. The role sets the operating model and standards that delivery teams use to manage suppliers effectively, driving strong commercial discipline, transparency and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do:

  • Define and lead supplier governance across E&P by designing and owning a consistent supplier operating model, standards and review cadence.
  • Own strategic Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) for all key E&P suppliers, building strong senior‑level relationships to influence outcomes, innovation and long‑term value.
  • Drive supplier performance, value and commercial outcomes, ensuring contractual commitments, KPIs and service outcomes are met.
  • Provide performance insight, risk management and remediation through dashboards, governance forums and structured improvement plans.
  • Oversee supplier risk, compliance and assurance across security, privacy, audit and regulatory requirements.
  • Influence senior leaders and embed best‑practice supplier management, commercial discipline and performance monitoring across delivery teams.

What you’ll bring to British Airways:

  • Strong stakeholder and supplier relationship management skills with the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Commercially minded with strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making capability.
  • Clear, confident communicator producing leadership‑ready insights and recommendations.
  • Highly organised, resilient and able to manage multiple priorities in a complex environment.
  • Collaborative leadership style, role‑modelling BA values and behaviours.

Your experience:

  • Senior‑level experience in supplier, vendor or account management roles.
  • Proven track record of driving performance, value and accountability from suppliers.
  • Experience defining and operating governance and SRM frameworks.
  • Strong commercial, contract and risk management experience.
  • Experience working in complex digital, technology or platform environments.
  • Knowledge of Agile / SAFe delivery environments (desirable).

What we offer:

We believe that all the people who work with us should feel valued for the part they play. It’s one of the reasons our rewards go far beyond a competitive salary.

From the day you join us, you’ll get access to brilliant staff travel benefits including unlimited basic and premium standby tickets on British Airways flights. You’ll also receive up to 30 discounted ‘Hotline’ airfares per year for yourself, friends, and family.

At British Airways you’ll have the chance to take on new challenges and move forward in a way that feels right for you. We encourage all those who work for us to consider opportunities right across our business to help you develop and progress.
