We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Java Tech Lead/Associate Director, Data and Analytics Specialist

Location : Hyderabad only

In this role, you will: 

• We’re looking for a Technical Lead (Java) to build and run services that provide address validation and address cleansing, with additional capabilities for email and phone number validation. You’ll lead engineering delivery across real-time REST APIs and batch processing, deployed on cloud platforms (including Amazon Web Services) and backed by MongoDB. This role includes people management responsibilities
• Lead the design and delivery of address validation and cleansing services, covering both real-time APIs and batch processing.
• Build and maintain RESTful microservices using Java and Spring Boot, focusing on security, performance and resilience.
• Own the data layer using MongoDB, including data modelling and performance optimisation.
• Set engineering standards for the team: code quality, reviews, testing strategy, and release readiness.
• Partner with product, architecture, operations and service consumers to deliver clear API contracts and reliable integrations.
• Drive production stability through monitoring, incident triage, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Manage and develop engineers through coaching, delivery planning and fostering an inclusive team culture.

 To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: 

• Strong hands-on experience building backend services with Java Spring Boot, including REST API design.
• Experience working with MongoDB (data modelling, query optimisation, and operational considerations).
• Experience delivering services on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and using continuous integration / continuous delivery pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
• Good understanding of secure API engineering (authentication/authorisation, input validation, logging, and data protection).
• Proven ability to lead technical delivery end-to-end (impact analysis, high-level/low-level design, implementation and support).
• Experience working in agile teams and collaborating with stakeholders across time zones.
• People leadership capability (line management or strong team leadership with clear examples of coaching and delivery ownership).
