We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist
In this role, you will:
- DevOps/DevSecOps leadership (multi-region): Lead deployments and operations across regions, ensuring standardised, compliant delivery practices.
- CI/CD automation: Build and run fully automated pipelines for build, test, security scanning, and deployment.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform/CloudFormation for repeatability and scale.
- Secure SDLC integration: Embed SAST/DAST/SonarQube and policy gates early in the pipeline to catch vulnerabilities fast.
- Test automation strategy: Implement unit, integration, functional, and performance testing across delivery stages.
- Git & branching governance: Define and enforce branching models (GitFlow/trunk-based), PR standards, and release workflows.
- Repository architecture & reuse: Optimise monorepo/polyrepo structures; create shared libraries, submodules, and reusable components.
- Platform & cloud engineering: Deliver across AWS, GCP, Kubernetes (internal), and on‑prem environments; improve developer experience using AI-driven automation.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Experience: 5–10 years’ hands-on delivery of end-to-end DevOps automation and pipelines using modern tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible).
- Source control mastery: Strong Git skills, including submodules and managing complex repo structures (mono/polyrepo patterns).
- CI/CD & release engineering: Proven ability to automate build, test, and deployment workflows, with solid branching strategy implementation at scale.
- Automation scripting: Proficient in Python, Bash, and/or Groovy to build reliable automation and developer tooling.
- Containers & orchestration: Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerisation and platform operations.
- Cloud & infrastructure breadth: Multi-cloud delivery experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) and ability to run parallel deployments across varied platforms/infrastructure.
- Quality, security, and reliability: DevSecOps mindset with security scanning integrated into pipelines; experience with automated testing; monitoring/logging exposure (e.g., AppDynamics, Splunk, Stackdriver).
- Leadership & enterprise mindset: Highly organised, proactive, and flexible; able to lead cross-team automation, contribute to shared libraries, drive continuous improvement, and apply FinOps principles to optimise cost.
