You will own the cloud platform vision, roadmap, and operational excellence across our digital ecosystem. This position is critical to scaling our global digital capabilities, enabling secure, reliable, and high‑performing cloud solutions that support our B2B and digital business growth.

Responsibilities

Cloud Platform Engineering

  • Lead the architecture, implementation, and optimization of cloud solutions across Azure and AWS.
  • Own Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) strategy and execution using tools such as Terraform.
  • Oversee the engineering and governance of container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS/AKS).
  • Establish scalable, automated CI/CD pipelines, including deployment orchestration and automated testing.
  • Ensure cloud platforms meet standards for performance, availability, resilience, and capacity management.
  • Implement cloud cost optimization strategies and governance frameworks.

Cloud Operations (CloudOps)

  • Lead and mentor a global CloudOps team responsible for the operation and reliability of cloud-hosted platforms.
  • Establish operational processes for incident management, problem management, environment management, and root-cause analysis.
  • Drive continuous improvement across deployment workflows, automation, observability, and operational excellence.
  • Create and maintain robust runbooks, operational documentation, and cloud operational guidelines.
  • Oversee 24×7 operational support for production environments and lead on-call rotations as needed.

Cloud Security & Compliance (CloudSecOps)

  • Embed CloudSecOps principles, integrating security controls directly into cloud architectures and CI/CD workflows.
  • Partner with enterprise security teams to operationalize cloud security tooling (e.g., CSPM, CWPP, SIEM, secret management, identity hardening).
  • Ensure compliance with corporate, industry, and regulatory security standards across Azure and AWS.
  • Lead initiatives to harden cloud environments through secure-by-design architectures and continuous scanning/monitoring.

Strategic & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Own and execute the Cloud Engineering & Operations roadmap aligned to organizational goals.
  • Collaborate closely with product, architecture, and development teams to ensure platform alignment and cloud adoption best practices.
  • Drive modernization initiatives including cloud-native services, containerization, and automation strategies.
  • Champion Agile and DevOps practices across Cloud Engineering and CloudOps teams.

Financial & Vendor Management

  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial oversight for cloud spend and operational initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with cloud providers (AWS, Microsoft), tooling vendors, and managed service partners.
  • Track vendor SLAs, performance, and operational outcomes.

People Leadership

  • Build, develop, and retain a high-performing Cloud Engineering and CloudOps team.
  • Assess talent capabilities and close skill gaps in cloud, automation, and cloud-native engineering.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and regular performance feedback.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and operational excellence.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 13+ years of experience in cloud engineering, cloud architecture, or cloud operations roles.
  • Deep, hands‑on expertise in Azure and AWS (multi-cloud experience strongly preferred).
  • Proven experience designing, deploying, and operating large-scale cloud environments.
  • Strong background with IaC (Terraform preferred), CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps), and automation frameworks.
  • Experience with container orchestration platforms (AKS, EKS, Kubernetes).
  • Proficient in scripting languages like Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with cloud monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working across engineering, operations, and business teams.
  • Experience in Agile/Kanban environments.
