Football Partnership Marketing Manager

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

Google Pixel has been a partner of English football clubs Arsenal FC and Liverpool FC since 2023. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing high impact partnerships with such partners, designed to drive consideration for Google Pixel in the UK. You will work closely with the partner as well as partnership, media and creative agencies to build marketing campaigns and activations to amplify the partnership in the UK. Your strong collaboration will be required across local, regional and global marketing teams to scale this work globally, as well as cross-functional partners including Product and Retail Marketing, PR, Media Lab. You should be a master of execution, project management, operational accuracy, and will be working in a fast moving, ever-changing environment where you will be expected to be nimble, resilient, creative and agile.

The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in marketing.
• Experience managing projects or partnerships that involve multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience developing and executing creative marketing campaigns.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience utilizing AI productivity tools to solve complex, multi-layered problems and streamline business or development workflows.
• Knowledge and understanding of the UK football landscape.
  
• Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the execution of brand partnerships, managing working relationships with external partners.
• Execute high impact, complex, social-first marketing campaigns to amplify partnerships.
• Identify and execute opportunities to activate partnerships across business and the calendar year.
• Manage network of stakeholders across product areas and departments globally, regionally and locally.
• Collaborate with legal and business affairs partners to execute partnership contracts, holding partners accountable to their contractual commitments.
