Here at EMIS, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our highly capable and talented product platform team on a permanent basis

 

As a business we are going through a period of growth you will be pivotal in understanding and gathering requirements from our internal stakeholders for our EMIS-X Analytics product. As a Business Analyst you will be aligned to the platform that supports several EMIS-X Analytics products that are shaping the next evolutionary stage in big data health analytics.

This Business Analysis position is remote working, however our product team meet on an ad hoc basis for collaborative sessions.   

 

What you’ll do 

 

As a Business Analyst, we will look to you to be the key interface between our users and our internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for understanding the expectations for our product by gathering and defining requirements and document process to support our product and engineering teams. 

 

Working within big data, you gain a deep understanding of processes across multiple products to define roadmaps and supporting standards-based authentication workflows.

 

 

Other key responsibilities:

·       Analyse and document customer and user requirements to support the product team in developing the product roadmap

·       Build relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and constrains

·       Analyse and document systems, processes and procedures in order to support the product team in designing new features

 

 

Who you’ll be 

 

You will be a proven and seasoned Business Analyst with the ability to communicate and document findings to the wider business, and you will be able to demonstrate previous experience of innovating concepts into requirements.

 

Cliche as it sounds, collaboration is essential. You will be able to evidence success of building trusted and credible relationships with customers to understand their requirements.

 

We’re looking for you to have exposure working within a similar role supporting big data technology products utilising AWS and SQL.

 

Technical skills we are looking for you to demonstrate include;

·       Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

·       Ability to influence key stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.

·       Excellent documentation skills, with experience of documenting systems and requirements.
