Senior Digital Asset Data Manager

You’ll be part of a collaborative team that partners with engineering, operations, and technology functions to deliver data solutions that keep Heathrow running safely and efficiently. Success in this role means creating robust data governance frameworks, improving asset data quality, and ensuring our systems provide actionable insights that support long-term asset performance and investment planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of Heathrow’s digital asset data strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Establish and maintain data governance standards to improve accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of asset information across the organisation.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and technology teams to deliver integrated data solutions that enhance decision-making and operational resilience.
• Oversee data quality improvement initiatives, including audits, cleansing, and validation processes, to ensure reliable asset information for critical projects.
• Provide subject matter expertise on asset data management tools and systems, driving innovation and best practice adoption.
• Report on data performance metrics and deliver insights that inform asset lifecycle planning and capital investment decisions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in asset data management within a complex infrastructure or engineering environment.
• Strong knowledge of data governance principles, standards, and best practices.
• Proficiency in asset management systems and related digital tools.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Ideal Skills:

• Experience in the aviation, transport, or utilities sector.
• Familiarity with ISO 55000 standards and BIM processes.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies in digital asset management, such as IoT and predictive analytics.
