People Transformation Lead

This is an exciting time to join the Heathrow People Team as a People Transformation Lead. You will play an important role in supporting the delivery of a large-scale transformation programme that will redefine people processes and technologies and elevate the strategic impact of the People function. This transformation will deliver a step-change across the colleague experience, acting as a key strategic enabler for Heathrow’s overarching organisational strategy.
 

Reporting to a People Transformation Manager, you will work across a range of transformation initiatives, supporting the design and delivery of change in partnership with People Team centres of excellence and business stakeholders. You will help define requirements, coordinate delivery activities and contribute to the realisation of business benefits. The role offers the opportunity to work with a broad range of colleagues, stakeholders and external partners.

The scope of People Transformation includes projects spanning Position Management, Learning, Resourcing, Reward & Benefits, Case Management, Data and User Experience. These projects include the optimisation of Heathrow’s core Oracle Fusion system, alongside the introduction of new technologies and ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the design, coordination and delivery of People transformation projects and initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development of business cases, transformation plans and project deliverables, ensuring alignment with Heathrow's strategic objectives and people priorities.
• Coordinate project activities using established delivery frameworks, managing milestones, dependencies, risks and issues to support successful implementation.
• Gathering, documenting and helping to shape business requirements, processes and solutions.
• Collaborating with colleagues across the People Team and wider business to deliver transformation initiatives, embed change and drive continuous improvement.
• Using data and insights to inform decisions and assess performance.
   

Qualifications

• Experience supporting or delivering projects that have improved people processes, systems or colleague experiences within a complex organisation.
• Strong organisational and project coordination skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Ability to interpret complex information and translate this into clear, actionable plans and recommendations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively across different teams and levels of the organisation.
• Comfortable working in dynamic environments with ambiguity, tight deadlines and evolving priorities.
• Proficient in using data and insights to support delivery and performance tracking.

Ideally you’ll also have:  

• Experience working with HR technology platforms, such as Oracle Fusion.
• Certified training in Project Management (e.g. Prince2, APM) or Change Management (e.g. Prosci, Kotter, or equivalent).
