Embark on a transformative journey as a Sourcing and Category Lead for BPO and Debt Services. At Barclays, our vision is clear –to redefine the future of banking and help craft innovative solutions. In this role, you will have an exciting opportunity to join a forward, thinking Procurement team, working closely with senior stakeholders and strategic vendors. You will be fully responsible and accountable for building and delivering the global category strategy for BPO and Debt Services across Barclays. In addition, this role will support several other categories as the US representative for the team, providing exposure to a broad range of Barclays stakeholders, suppliers, and markets. These may include HR, professional services, technology services, insurance, and more offering a uniquely diverse and impactful procurement experience.
To be successful as a Sourcing and Category Lead for BPO and Debt Services, you should have:
Validated ability to develop and execute category strategies that deliver commercial value and long term supplier performance
Experience with multi-layered commercial negotiations, contract structuring, and value based outcomes
The ability to identify, assess, and mitigate supply, financial, regulatory, and operational risks
Relevant professional accreditation, such as ISM, CIPS, or IACCM, demonstrating commitment to best practice procurement standards
Excellent data analytics and stakeholder guidance skills, enabling evidence, based strategy making and effective collaboration across senior internal and external stakeholders
Other highly valued skills include:
Financial Services industry experience
BPO and/or Debt Services experience
Experience building and operating agentic AI solutions

This role is located in our Whippany, NJ office
Minimum Salary: $150,000
Maximum Salary: $205,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the role
To optimise and address Barclays 3rd party spend requirements, including the definition, development and implementation of approaches for relevant spend categories and requirements with close collaboration with the business and execution of strategic sourcing and buying channel development/optimisation.
