JOB DESCRIPTION

The Securities Services Data team is promoting a strategic initiative to deliver value-added data solutions to asset managers and asset owners worldwide, integrating financial, market and reference data from internal, client and third-party sources. This role is for a Product Development Vice President within the Securities Services Data team.

As a Data Product Delivery Vice President within the Securities Services Data team, you will be responsible for designing and managing the data on-boarding agenda as part of the broader Data Platform that will be offered to our clients through strategic distribution channels.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Contributing to and in time Leading the Data On-Boarding program for the Securities Services business, straddling Product, Ops and Tech across all Securities Services Lines of Business. Helping set the agenda on the Securities Services’ Data Framework along with driving the implementation and setting best practice.

    • Helping to commercialize the offering
  • Leading Change projects, managing programs of work or workstreams within larger programs 
    • Scoping work & establishing governance
    • Creating and maintaining key project artefacts – Charter, RAID log, Action list, Project Plan
    • Running the day to day– leading working groups, chairing solution sessions, issue resolution, escalation of key risks & issues, maintaining project reporting
  • Design - delivering well-designed end to end data solutions, automated, simple and stable, from first point of instruction capture through to integrated rate card adjustments and billing system updates.  
    • Identify overlap/synergies with the product change agenda so as to advance the strategic goals of the business

Required qualifications, capabilities & skills:

  • Prior experience in managing large scale Data Engineering initiatives for developing data products.  
  • Prior experience in Agile software development 
  • Prior experience implementing temporal features in data 
  • Ability to profile, analyze and interpret data at scale 
  • Conversant with Data Modeling tools and techniques 
  • Results oriented. Focused on delivering outcomes and key results for business
  • Self-starter that takes initiative and has demonstrated effectiveness working with-in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Detail oriented, logical, and structured approach to planning and problem solving.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and influence stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement Drive and risk & controls mindset.
  • Strong time management skills, with an ability to multitask and work under pressure.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities & skills :

  • Prior experience in financial services preferably in Security Services
