JOB DESCRIPTION

Help shape how card financial products move from idea to launch, through updates, and ultimately retirement. You'll build platform capabilities that give business teams more autonomy while maintaining a great customer experience.

As a Product Manager in Card Product Lifecycle, you drive end-to-end product lifecycle capabilities that enable planned card financial products to be launched, activated, updated, made legacy, and retired. You will focus heavily on building and evolving a self-service platform that helps business users create and refresh financial products with speed and confidence. You partner with design, engineering, data, and risk partners to define outcomes, prioritize work, and deliver measurable improvements. Your work supports upcoming product launches and refreshes while keeping resiliency, stability, and risk posture front and center. This role supports capabilities across the full card financial product lifecycle, including upcoming launches and refreshes.

Job responsibilities:

  • Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for card financial product lifecycle capabilities
  • Lead discovery to understand user needs (business users and partner teams) and translate insights into solutions
  • Build and manage a roadmap that balances new capability builds, product refresh needs, and ongoing platform improvements
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog, including writing clear requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Partner with engineering and design to deliver high-quality experiences that enable self-service product setup and updates
  • Establish and track success metrics (for example: cycle time, adoption, quality, reliability, and risk/control outcomes)
  • Drive delivery readiness for upcoming product launches and refreshes supported by the platform
  • Gather feedback post-release and iterate to improve usability, scalability, and operational stability
  • Coordinate across cross-functional teams to align dependencies, manage tradeoffs, and remove delivery blockers
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, using data and feedback to guide decisions

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 5+ years of experience (or equivalent expertise) in product management or a closely related domain
  • Strong knowledge of the product development lifecycle, including discovery, delivery, and iteration
  • Demonstrated ability to lead product lifecycle activities such as ideation, strategy, requirements definition, and value management
  • Experience building platforms, tools, or self-service experiences for internal users
  • Ability to define measurable outcomes, create success metrics, and use data to prioritize and evaluate impact
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to align stakeholders in a matrixed environment
  • Proven ability to deliver across multiple workstreams while managing scope, risk, and dependencies

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • Card, payments, or other financial product lifecycle experience (launch, refresh, legacy, retirement)
  • Financial services experience
  • Familiarity with risk and control considerations in regulated environments
