Job Description:

Strengthen our team as our CyberArk Architect / SME (PAM)

Location: Fully remote, home-based role in the UK.

Vetting: Requires eligibility for security clearance and sole UK nationals.

Shape secure systems. Build trusted partnerships. Make a meaningful impact.

We’re looking for an experienced CyberArk Architect / SME to join our team and play a pivotal role in strengthening how privileged access is designed, integrated, and run across the organisation. In this role, you’ll bring together deep technical expertise and thoughtful collaboration to create secure, resilient, and elegant solutions that truly work for the people who rely on them.

You’ll work closely with engineers, security leaders, and business stakeholders, influencing design decisions and guiding teams through complex integrations. If you enjoy mentoring others, improving services over time, and seeing the real‑world impact of your work, this role offers the space to do exactly that.

What You'll Be Doing:

You’ll be trusted to lead and shape CyberArk services end to end, while being well supported by a collaborative, respectful team.

  • Design and evolve CyberArk service architecture aligned with recognised security frameworks and organisational priorities.
  • Thoughtfully design, integrate, and optimise CyberArk PAM solutions (Vault, CPM, PVWA, PSM) across enterprise systems, applications, and cloud platforms.
  • Partner with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless, sustainable integrations within existing environments.
  • Define and embed best practices, governance models, and operating standards that make CyberArk services reliable and easy to run.
  • Provide technical leadership and architectural oversight, guiding delivery teams and supporting successful project outcomes.
  • Contribute to risk assessments, audits, and compliance activities, helping teams feel confident and prepared.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, listening carefully and driving continuous service improvement.
  • Develop and maintain custom integrations, APIs, and scripts (e.g. for LDAP, Active Directory, SIEM, ITSM platforms).
  • Work collaboratively with project teams to gather requirements, shape integration strategies, and provide clear technical direction.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues with curiosity and care, partnering with internal teams and vendors where needed.
  • Create clear, accessible documentation that supports long‑term knowledge sharing.
  • Coach, mentor, and support client teams and junior colleagues, helping others grow their confidence and capability.
  • Stay curious and up to date with emerging PAM technologies and integration approaches.
  • Ensure alignment with corporate security standards, policies, and controls.
  • Maintain SC (Security Check) clearance and adhere to defined security protocols.

What We're Looking for:

We’re more interested in your breadth of experience, collaborative approach, and problem‑solving mindset than ticking every single box.

  • Strong, hands‑on experience designing and integrating CyberArk PAM solutions in complex enterprise environments.
  • A solid understanding of authentication methods, APIs, and integration patterns (REST, SOAP).
  • Confidence in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python) to simplify and scale integrations.
  • Experience working with IAM platforms, directory services (LDAP, Active Directory), and cloud environments (particularly Azure).
  • A calm, methodical approach to troubleshooting and resolving integration challenges.
  • Clear and empathetic communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to a wide range of audiences.
  • Experience with other PAM technologies such as Delinea (Centrify) or BeyondTrust.
  • One or more CyberArk certifications (Defender, Sentry, Guardian).
  • Background as a PAM consultant, including client‑facing delivery and collaborative presentations.

Nice to Have (but Not Essential)

  • Experience integrating CyberArk within AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
  • Advanced automation or orchestration experience.
