Wintel Engineer

The Opportunity -

 

Furthering our sovereign capability and services, Atos UK will shortly be delivering a new piece of work for a key long-term client in Central Government. To complement our existing team, we will be hiring multiple Wintel Engineers to deliver this work.

The core elements of this role include the following:

 

• Build, manage and implement complex changes. 
• Present changes to the Change Advisory Board.
• Contribute to change reviews in accordance with ITIL principles.
• Communicate incident resolution information to team.
• Take a lead in understanding of customers’ needs.
• Work with platform and account teams to address their needs.
• Proactive self-assignment of incident tickets.
• Support changes led by other teams supporting the platform (Storage, Networks etc.).

• Wintel Administration
• Cluster Configuration
• Server Builds
• Scripting
• Troubleshooting
• Azure Local
• Hyper-V admin
• SCVMM

 

This role will require Security Clearance to be obtained. In terms of working patterns, it is a hybrid role.
