In Waters, the Informatics group produces software that is used by people worldwide for specialist measurement and scientific analysis. We are currently seeking a Cloud Principl Engineer to work in one of our Cloud Development teams. We work in a collaborative, agile environment, where team members are empowered to innovate and continually improve. Role specific:

Adhere to Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications/Education required:
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher (or equivalent) in science, computing engineering subjects.
Experience required: Minimum 12 Years in Cloud and Software Development
1. Extensive knowledge and proven experience as a software developer, with exposure to elements of the back-end technology stack (C#, .NET).
2. Front-End JavaScript Frameworks, especially Angular
3. Good experience working with Amazon Web Services, Microservices, API development
Aptitude/skills required:
1. Knowledge and application of software engineering practices (e.g. Unit testing, TDD, CI/CD, SOLID, BDD etc.).
2. Proven ability to lead design and development of complex features
3. Proven ability to work as part of an Agile delivery team.
4. Ability to analyse and solve problems.
5. Excellent communication and team working skills.
