Communications Consultant, Specialist

Join Vanguard’s Personal Wealth Communications team as a Communications Specialist, where you will play a central role in executing and delivering high-quality communications that support senior leaders. This role is responsible for ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment to established messaging and priorities across Personal Wealth communication channels. Working closely with senior communicators, this role helps bring communications plans to life through strong writing, attention to detail, and reliable execution.

Job description

• Partner with senior communicators to support day-to-day executive communications needs
• Ownership over library of key divisional facts and figures to support communications across the PW Comms team
• Support internal events and leadership forums through content development and logistics
• Support publishing and distribution across internal and external platforms
• Maintain editorial calendars, content trackers, and team documents

• Strong writing and editing skills with a focus on clarity and simplicity
• Exceptional attention to detail and quality control
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously
• Team player with a willingness to jump in and support across priorities
• Willing to get up to speed quickly on the business and key stakeholders

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate communications, employee engagement, or marketing communications.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.Com/B.M.M.) in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field a plus.
• Proficient skills in communication tools and platforms like SharePoint, MS Teams, Canva, and content management systems a plus.
