About the role

Our Financial Crime team blends regulatory expertise with data-driven thinking to make sure our products meet legal and policy requirements and deliver real value to customers. In a fast-moving, digital environment, they stay one step ahead by finding smart, scalable ways to prevent financial crime.

We're looking for a Financial Crime Risk Manager to collaborate with our Group Compliance and Product teams to help drive the design and implementation of AI-driven compliance solutions.

What you'll be doing

• Working with Data Science and Engineering teams to review AI in compliance
• Supporting the design and development of innovative yet practical compliance solutions by translating regulatory requirements into actionable measures
• Performing regulatory gap analysis and compliance assessment reviews
• Identifying potential gaps in existing departmental processes, systems, and controls while driving improvements
• Keeping up to date with relevant regulations, industry guidance, and financial services innovations, particularly from a financial crime risk perspective
• Ensuring clarity, transparency, and insight in both BAU and growth/expansion-related discussions with regulators, law enforcement, and financial partners where applicable
• Collaborating, coordinating, and partnering with Product, Compliance, and Audit teams, as well as local legal entities

What you'll need

• 7+ years of financial crime experience, ideally in a consultancy or more than one financial institution within an AML/CTF role
• A good understanding of both traditional and innovative financial services products (crypto, buy-now-pay-later, etc.) and associated financial crime risks and regulations
• Experience in regulatory mapping, gap analysis, and compliance assessments within FinCrime domains
• Proficiency in performing detailed and efficient research of regulatory requirements, industry guidance, and case studies in relation to new markets or products
• An understanding of industry-wide financial crime practices and trends
• Solid analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• A highly organised and structured working style
• Excellent report writing, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Fluency in English

Nice to have

• Experience working with RegTech services
• Data analytics and/or AI exposure or training
• Global FinCrime expertise
• General compliance experience outside of FinCrime
