JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Team

The Managed Investments team delivers personalized investment products, services, and insights across our global Wealth Management distribution channels. We power growth and innovation across our managed investments ecosystem through a client-focused lens; utilizing data‑driven decision making to build scalable platforms that enable advisors to deliver holistic advice across U.S. Wealth Management and the Global Private Bank.

What You’ll Get:

  • Opportunity to shape an investment platform that empowers advisors and clients globally.
  • Collaborative, high‑performing environment focused on client impact, craft excellence, and continuous learning.
  • Exposure to modern product practices, data‑driven decisioning, and enterprise‑grade engineering at scale.

Role Overview:

As a Product Owner, you will help deliver end‑to‑end product execution for capabilities on our managed investments platform. You will partner with advisors, business stakeholders, UX design and research, data, and technology as the voice of the user to drive outcomes that are measurable, compliant, and aligned to firm strategy. You will emphasize scalability, resiliency, and stability, collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, secure products that exceed customer expectations and are built for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate customer and advisor needs into clear product outcomes, success metrics, and prioritized backlogs, using discovery methods such as user research, journey mapping, and rapid experimentation.
  • Partner with Product Managers to identify, validate, and size new opportunities informed by user insights, market trends, and competitive analysis; contribute to multi‑release roadmaps and quarterly planning.
  • Write high‑quality epics and user stories with acceptance criteria; maintain a transparent backlog; ensure requirements are feasible, testable, and aligned with policy, controls, and regulatory standards.
  • Anticipate upstream and downstream platform impacts; design for interoperability across advisor tools, data pipelines, and client‑facing experiences; steward API and data contract changes with minimal disruption.
  • Drive delivery through agile ceremonies (refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives); collaborate with engineering, design, data, controls, and operations to remove blockers and deliver on time.
  • Define and track product health and value metrics (e.g., adoption, engagement, SLA/SLOs, latency, NPS/CSAT, advisor efficiency, error rates).
  • Embed resiliency, security, and compliance by design; partner with risk, legal, and control functions to meet standards for data protection, third‑party risk, model risk, and records management.
  • Enable effective change management: prepare enablement materials, contribute to release notes, and support advisor and field readiness in partnership with training and communications.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or a closely related role in financial services, fintech, or enterprise platforms.
  • Working knowledge of the product development lifecycle and agile delivery
  • Developing proficiency in data analytics and data literacy, including comfort with product metrics, dashboards, and experimentation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in wealth management, managed investments, or advisor‑facing platforms; familiarity with investment products and advisory workflows.
  • Exposure to platform and API‑first design and using data to drive prioritization; basic familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and product analytics/observability platforms.
  • Understanding of resiliency and reliability practices (SLOs, error budgets, incident and problem management) and secure development principles.
  • Ability to navigate risk and controls, including data governance, privacy, and regulatory considerations relevant to wealth management products.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with a track record of aligning diverse partners around outcomes and delivering measurable value.
