Content Designer: AI Specialist

We are recruiting for a Contract Content Designer for a 3 month initial contract, starting ASAP.

The role: Content Designer: AI Specialist 

2 days a week in London, Victoria.

Key Responsibilities:

Define AI Content Standards

• Define metadata, taxonomies, and schemas that support AI retrieval, RAG pipelines, and vector search
• Design and document content standards for conversational, generative, and AI-driven UX patterns
• Partner with CMS teams to maintain scalable content models optimised for automation and machine understanding
• Design modular, atomic content that can be composed, repurposed, or personalised by AI systems

Lead on Personalisation

• Support business initiatives exploring how personalisation can improve product conversion rates
• Explore AI integrations with experimentation tools (e.g. Kameleoon) to enable data-driven personalisation

Enhance Content Creation

• Build and test AI-powered writing workflows using LLMs, copilots, and automation tools
• Accelerate writing, editing, summarisation, localisation, and content transformation while maintaining quality and compliance
• Create repeatable templates, frameworks, and patterns for scalable AI-generated content
• Define prompt strategies and content rules to ensure safe, accurate, and on-brand outputs
• Run experiments comparing human, AI-assisted, and hybrid content approaches
• Establish quality and safety standards (tone, accuracy, bias, fallback behaviour)

Must-Have Skills

• Portfolio required: Please include case studies/examples demonstrating the impact of AI-driven content solutions
• 7+ years’ experience in Content Design, UX Writing, or Content Strategy
• Strong hands-on experience using LLMs/AI tools for content creation and workflow optimisation
• Ability to design prompts, templates, and structured content formats
• Experience writing for AI-driven products (e.g. assistants, generators, intelligent flows)
• Experience with headless CMS and API-driven content systems
• Understanding of responsible AI, bias mitigation, and safe content design
• Strong knowledge of metadata, taxonomies, schemas, and structured content models
• Ability to balance human oversight with AI automation
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills (engineering, data science, research)

Nice to Have

• Experience with RAG systems, vector databases, or knowledge graphs
• Familiarity with prompt evaluation frameworks and model assessment
• Basic understanding of machine learning concepts
