Description
An Electronics Hardware Technician will participate in all aspects of new product development including schematics, PCB layout, and prototype assembly and validation. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining schematics, assembling, troubleshooting and reworking prototypes, system setup and troubleshooting for EMC, Safety & Environmental testing and executing Validation and Verification plans. Successful Electronics Hardware Technicians on our team can work independently, multi-task effectively across projects, communicate well with engineers, and are comfortable working in a lab environment.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Schematic creation and maintenance
- Prototype assembly and troubleshooting
- Soldering rework on electronic assemblies
- Using basic electronic tools, including power sources, oscilloscopes and analyzers
- System setup and troubleshooting for EMC, Safety & Environmental testing
- Data generation and test report completion

You take initiative, can be resourceful, and can prioritize your work to make progress independently. You take ownership of your goals, regularly check-in, and ask questions in a timely manner to ensure success of project and tasks.
For This Role, You Will Need:
- AAS in Electronics Technician Specialization or equivalent experience
- Experience building, troubleshooting, and validating electromechanical systems
- Familiarity with electronics hardware and basic electronics tools
- Experience using Microsoft Office365 suite
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Experience using LabVIEW for measurements and automation
- Experience testing for CE, Safety and Environmental certification
- Experience with test and measurement equipment calibration
