Senior Learning Consultant – Oracle Health Consulting

Job Description

Join Oracle Health Consulting as a Senior Learning Consultant and contribute to one of the largest electronic health record (EHR) modernization initiatives supporting our Federal customers.

In this role, you will design, deliver, and evaluate learning programs that prepare users and teams for successful adoption of Oracle Health solutions. You will work closely with learning leaders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and cross-functional partners to identify learning needs, deliver effective training, assess performance, and continuously improve the learner experience.

The ideal candidate brings significant experience in EHR training and delivery, adult learning, coaching, and performance improvement and is comfortable delivering training in dynamic customer environments. This position requires the flexibility to travel up to 100% based on customer and project needs.

Key Responsibilities

Training Design & Delivery

  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging instructor-led and virtual training programs for a variety of audiences and skill levels.
  • Deliver EHR training in support of deployments, go-lives, ongoing adoption, and other customer initiatives.
  • Facilitate train-the-trainer programs, mini-certifications, workshops, and other learning experiences.
  • Apply adult learning principles and instructional best practices to create effective and engaging learning experiences.
  • Adapt training delivery and content based on learner needs, business requirements, and customer environments.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to trainers and learners to strengthen knowledge, confidence, and performance.

Performance Assessment & Coaching

  • Assess trainer and learner performance and provide actionable feedback to improve effectiveness.
  • Conduct observations, one-on-one coaching sessions, and performance assessments.
  • Identify knowledge and skill gaps and recommend targeted learning interventions.
  • Monitor training outcomes and use findings to drive continuous improvement.

Continuous Learning & Knowledge Transfer

  • Partner with SMEs and other stakeholders to develop and maintain training resources for evolving business and customer needs.
  • Support ongoing learning initiatives that reinforce knowledge and prepare teams for changes to systems, processes, and workflows.
  • Maintain and update learning materials to ensure content remains accurate, relevant, and aligned with program objectives.
  • Promote effective knowledge transfer across learning teams and customer stakeholders.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align learning programs with project, customer, and organizational objectives.
  • Communicate training progress, performance trends, risks, and improvement opportunities to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Build productive relationships with customers, SMEs, project teams, and other learning professionals.
  • Collaborate with external partners as needed to support third-party training and learning solutions.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze learner performance, feedback, and training data to evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Track key performance indicators, including learner satisfaction, completion rates, knowledge attainment, and skill improvement.
  • Use data and learner feedback to recommend improvements to training content, delivery methods, and learning strategies.
  • Provide clear reporting and insights to stakeholders regarding learning outcomes and areas requiring additional support.

Learning Strategy & Change Management

  • Support learning and change management strategies that promote successful adoption of Oracle Health solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve learning processes, tools, and delivery approaches.
  • Help teams and customers navigate changes associated with technology implementations, deployments, and go-live activities.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Learning and Development, Business, Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in training, learning and development, instructional delivery, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering electronic health record (EHR) training.
  • Experience developing training programs, conducting needs assessments, and evaluating learner or trainer performance.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and effective instructional techniques.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, and providing performance feedback.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and feedback to improve learning outcomes.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, SMEs, leadership, and customer stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and related business applications.
  • Demonstrated competencies in leadership, collaboration, adaptability, problem-solving, and customer focus.
  • Ability to work irregular hours as needed and as permitted by applicable local regulations.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 100% based on customer and project requirements.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance after hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering training for Oracle Health/Cerner or other enterprise EHR solutions.
  • Experience supporting large-scale EHR implementations, deployments, and go-live activities.
  • Experience developing and facilitating train-the-trainer programs.
  • Experience applying data-driven approaches to learning and performance improvement.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), virtual learning platforms, and digital learning tools.
  • Experience supporting Federal healthcare customers or large, complex healthcare organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering training in high-travel, customer-facing environments.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $71,200 to $166,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.


Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.


Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
