Job Duties: Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.36843)
Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation. Position requires:
1. Develop applications using Java, C#, Python, Go or similar object oriented or functional programming languages;
2. Data Structures and Algorithms;
3. Object Oriented Design (OOD) and Object Oriented Programming (OOP);
4. Rest APIs;
5. Enterprise database like Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB or similar;
6. Code collaboration tools like GitLab, GitHub, bitbucket or equivalent;
7. Provide support of productions by trouble-shooting issues and developing, testing, and the migration of solutions; and
8. Agile Methodologies.
 

Qualifications

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
