  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Linux systems administration (entry-to-mid level), preferably in a federal or DoD environment.
  • Active IAT Level II baseline certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, or equivalent).
  • Basic understanding of fundamental Linux tools and administrative services (NFS, DNS, SSH, user/group management).
  • Working knowledge or training in Linux systems (holding or working toward a CompTIA Linux+ or RHCSA certification is a plus).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to DoD security tools such as ACAS, HBSS/ESS, or Splunk.
  • Exposure to basic scripting concepts (Bash, Python) or configuration tools (Ansible).
  • Familiarity with virtualization basics (VMware vSphere).

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have an active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
