Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Writing and maintaining efficient code for software components, adhering to best practices in development
• Supporting the design and development of new software applications aligned with business objectives
• Implementing testing frameworks for software validation, including unit and integration tests, to ensure quality
• Documenting the software development process, including design and deployment procedures, to facilitate knowledge sharing
• Analyzing software integration needs and planning system architecture to meet technical specifications
• Reviewing current practices and technical literature to inform project solutions and applying engineering methodologies
• Working with Quality Assurance to ensure applications meet technical requirements and fit specifications
• Troubleshooting software issues, providing resolutions to enhance application performance and user satisfaction
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs and microservices using Java Spring Boot for the Data Quality platform

·

Support ingestion, validation, and monitoring frameworks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data

·

Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues across pipelines and downstream systems

·

Implement validation rules, data checks, and automation to improve overall data quality standards

·

Monitor application performance, logs, and metrics; ensure production stability and SLA adherence

·

Support data access control applications built using Python, AWS services, and Java components

·

Implement and maintain authorization and authentication mechanisms (e.g., role-based access, policies)

·

Collaborate with platform teams to ensure secure and compliant data access across environments

·

Assist in onboarding datasets and applications into access control frameworks

·

Build and enhance cloud-native applications (Cloud Foundry, AWS)

·

Develop reusable services, libraries, and APIs for data platform use cases

·

Participate in CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and DevOps practices

·

Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and product teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions

·

Support system integration, API connectivity, and cross-platform data exchange

·

Provide production support, incident resolution, and root cause analysis

·

Proactively identify system improvements and automation opportunities

·

Ensure adherence to data governance, privacy, and security standards

·

Maintain documentation for APIs, services, and platform components
