Reward Delivery Specialist

Description

The Reward Delivery Specialist is responsible for delivering an accurate, efficient, and customer-focused reward and payroll administration service. The role supports colleagues, managers, Payroll, and HR stakeholders by managing reward and pay-related activities, ensuring payroll data integrity, administering family-friendly leave processes, and supporting annual reward programmes.

The postholder is accountable for ensuring colleagues receive the correct pay, benefits, and statutory entitlements while maintaining compliance with company policies, employment legislation, and payroll governance requirements. Working collaboratively across HR, Payroll, and the wider business, the role contributes to a high-quality service through effective query resolution, accurate calculations, strong stakeholder support, and continuous process improvement.

Whilst working as part of a team, the role holder will take ownership of their own work allocation, managing their time effectively, re-prioritising when necessary, to ensure all service delivery targets are met.  They will lead on the more complex delivery and grow relationships with key internal stakeholders.  Throughout, they will drive service quality through understanding and delivering against expectations, meeting objectives, effectively prioritising, and initiating continuous improvement. 

Responsibilities

• Administration of reward processes, including payroll inputs, benefits enrolment, and related data updates.
• Play a key role in New Projects
• Validating and reconciling data to ensure accuracy in all reward transactions and reports.
• Producing and maintaining Excel-based reports and templates to support reward activities and audits.
• Collaborating with HR, Finance, and external providers to resolve queries and ensure smooth process delivery.
• Supporting the implementation of process improvements and system enhancements within the reward function.
• Ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations in all reward activities. 

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling data and processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data validation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external partners.
• Understanding of confidentiality and data protection requirements. 

Ideally, you'll also have: 

• Experience in HR, payroll, or reward administration.
• Familiarity with HR systems and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of UK employment legislation related to pay and benefits.
