Job Title: Executive Assistant (Edgewing)

Location: Reading area. The role could be contracted to any BAE Systems Air site (preferably Frimley) but on commencement will immediately be assigned to our Edgewing JV in the Reading area. A financial support package may be available to enable this assignment if required, dependent on certain criteria being met. Due to the nature of this assignment, we envisage there will be a need for mostly on site working, however, flexible working arrangements may be possible – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this role.

Salary: £39,745+ Dependent of skills and experience

You’re expected to have completed 12 months in role prior to applying for an advertised vacancy and you should also discuss the internal opportunity with your line manager to ensure sustained business continuity and to further support your career development.

Job Description:

You’ll deliver exceptional executive support to Edgewing’s C-suite, partnering with a network of Executive Assistants to ensure seamless operations at the highest level. Take ownership of end-to-end meeting coordination, from agenda creation to logistics and precise minute-taking. Act as a cultural ambassador, championing the values of both parent organisations within a dynamic joint venture environment. Play a key role in supporting Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) objectives while maintaining a safe and compliant workplace. Handle highly confidential information with absolute discretion, professionalism, and integrity, enabling senior leaders to operate effectively and focus on strategic priorities.

Core duties:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to Edgewing C-suite leaders in coordination with other Executive Assistants
  • Coordinate and prepare for meetings, including drafting agendas, managing logistics, and recording minutes
  • Serve as a cultural ambassador, promoting and aligning with the values and expectations of both parent companies within the joint venture
  • Support Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) objectives and proactively manage office-related health and safety responsibilities
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost integrity and discretion

Essential Skills:

  • Experience supporting senior-level executives, ideally within international or joint venture organisations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage shifting priorities with composure, discretion, and professionalism
  • Proven experience collaborating with international partners in a multinational, cross-cultural environment
