This role is located in Waters' new Global Capability Center (GCC) in Bengaluru, India, which is a newly built facility in Bengaluru's RMZ Ecoworld technology park, a WELL and LEED Platinum-certified campus that exemplifies a commitment to a healthy and eco-conscious workspace. The Waters India GCC is an integrated extension of our global team, serving as a center of excellence across areas such as employee service delivery, software engineering, technology, and product development.

As a Benefits Operations Coordinator, you will support the Global Total Rewards Benefits Center of Excellence (COE) while building the operational foundation to migrate these services into the HR Service Delivery (HRSD) model. This position follows a hybrid work model, requiring three days on-site (Tuesday–Thursday) at the GCC.

To ensure seamless service across the Global Benefits delivery tiers, the Coordinator will perform the following duties:

Tier 1 & Tier 2 Service Delivery

  • Inquiry Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for Tier 1 and Tier 2 employee inquiries regarding eligibility, enrollment, claims, leaves, and retirement.
  • Complex Case Resolution: Triage and resolve complex cases, such as claims advocacy and payroll/benefits corrections, escalating only the most sensitive policy issues to the COE.
  • Knowledge Management: Maintain and update benefit education materials, "service-ready" scripts, and knowledgebase content to ensure clear communication for employees and the wider HRSD team.

Transaction & Program Processing

  • Lifecycle Processing: Execute routine transactions including new hire onboarding, life event changes, and terminations within HRIS/HCM platforms.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure accurate payroll deductions and manage the transmission of vendor eligibility files.
  • Annual Maintenance: Execute annual balance updates for specific programs (e.g., U.S. College Tuition Benefit) and maintain global benefit inventories by country.

Operational Finance & Vendor Coordination

  • Financial Operations: Manage end-to-end vendor invoicing, including payment submission, cost center allocation, and monthly financial reconciliations in partnership with Finance.
  • Vendor Liaison: Work directly with carriers and Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) to resolve individual employee issues and support data QA/audits.

 Support & Knowledge Transfer

  • Project Support: Assist with global benefits projects, including Well-being initiatives, M&A activity, and Governance.
  • Cross-Training: Provide training to the wider HR Service Delivery Team to facilitate the long-term knowledge transfer required for HRSD category expansion.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 year of experience in Total Rewards/Benefits, preferably within an international, GBS, or Shared Services environment.
  • Technical Skills: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with HRIS platforms.
  • Communication: Excellent command of English with the ability to prioritize work under pressure and handle sensitive employee advocacy cases.
