Working within the banks EMEA IT Security Team, the IT Security Support Analyst will ensure the day-to-day operations of the IT security team run smoothly as it continues to expand operations in Europe.
The role will collaborate with the EMEA IT Security team, liaising across a range of different roles and level of stakeholder, and will require regular updates to the team and EMEA IT Security management.
Responsibilities:
Be the first line of IT Security operational support to the business in Europe
Act as the first point of contact for IT Security queries in in Europe.
Respond to and triage any security incidents coming in from SOC.
Support the development of best practice security procedures in EMEA.
Assist with incident response in EMEA.
Develop knowledge of IT Security practices and a range of security disciplines to support the EMEA IT Security team.
Knowledge and Experience required:
Basic knowledge of common networking protocols (SSH, SCP, FTP/SFTP, HTTP/HTTPS, SMTP, DNS), core encryption standards (PGP, RSA, SSL, TLS) and basic understanding of TCP/IP networking.
High level awareness of application and infrastructure logging, alerts and core security technologies such as SIEM’s, Proxy’s, Firewalls, EDR’s and MSSP
The ability to monitor and track tickets and work in progress using JIRA or ServiceNow.
1-2 years of Information Security experience.
High level knowledge of Incident Response.
Keen to develop problem solving skills.
