· Design, develop, test, review, and maintain high-quality software across relevant areas of the product.
· Coach and mentor engineers, including supporting Senior Software Developers in developing their technical leadership and feature ownership.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
· A degree, equivalent qualification, or equivalent practical experience in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
· Strong software development expertise in C, Python, or comparable systems-level technologies, with the ability to work effectively within an established C and Python codebase.
· Significant experience designing and delivering complex, multi-component software systems.
· Experience working across multiple components or layers of a software system, such as embedded software, device drivers, platform components, client-side tools, or APIs.
· Experience providing technical leadership for complex features or substantial software initiatives.
· Practical experience with CI/CD and disciplined, automated testing practices.
· Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical decisions across teams or disciplines.
Bonus Qualifications:
· Experience working within a regulated industry or with software certification, assurance, or compliance requirements.
