The Work
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer, Sr to support multiple programs in the Integrated Warfare Systems & Sensors business. This position requires knowledge of electrical engineering principles, working in a team environment, and general knowledge of other related disciplines. Specific tasking will be but not limited to overall design of launcher electrical systems, including the selection and use of Commercial Off the Shelf components, custom hardware design, and setting requirements for chassis/enclosure design.

Responsibilities include:

• Support the electrical design sustainment of the MK41 Vertical Launching System and new and exciting designs of the next generation of launcher and weapon systems across various platforms.
• Apply emerging technical expertise in electrical engineering and electronics and have applicable knowledge of other related disciplines.
• Support the successful design and may function in a project leadership role to achieve major organizational objectives.
• May represent the organization as a technical contact on contracts and projects while coordinating with more senior internal or external personnel on significant technical matters.
• Conduct or participate in the design, development, and testing of electronic and electrical components, sub-systems and systems.
• Develop, direct, and coordinate technical documentation such as initial design specifications, schematics, assembly drawings and parts list as well as preparing test procedures and reports to ensure customer and company requirements are met.
