Through our strategic partnership with Brookfield Asset Management, we are transforming the business into a standalone fintech focused on innovation, growth and customer outcomes.

As an Engineering Lead, you will lead a Product Delivery team responsible for building, delivering and operating products end-to-end. Working closely with Engineering, Product and business stakeholders, you will support the development of engineers, improve delivery practices and help ensure technology solutions meet customer and business needs.

To be successful as an Engineering Lead you should have:

  • Proven experience leading engineering teams and delivering technology solutions in a production environment.
  • Extensive software engineering experience, with a broach understanding of modern technology stacks.
  • Experience applying agile or lean delivery practices to support continuous improvement.
  • People leadership experience, including coaching, development and performance management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.

Additional skills of value include:

  • Experience within payments, fintech or other technology-led environments.
  • Knowledge of AI, machine learning or emerging technology trends.
  • Experience with technologies such as Rust, Kotlin, Typescript and cloud-native platforms.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, DevOps practices and CI/CD methodologies.
  • Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging technologies.

This role is based in London. We support a hybrid working model, with colleagues expected to attend the office three days per week. Participation in an on-call rota may also be required.

You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
