JOB DESCRIPTION

Drive executive-ready strategy, governance, and disciplined execution across a high-visibility, cross-functional credit card program where your work directly shapes decisions and measurable outcomes. You will own crisp decision narratives and leadership communications, design and run high-discipline operating cadences, manage contractual obligations and financial/headcount visibility, and synthesize data-driven insights that connect progress to business outcomes. You will also leverage AI-enabled tools to accelerate roadmap development and reporting.

Job Summary:

As a Vice President of Strategy, you will drive executive-ready communication and disciplined operating procedures that turn complex, cross-functional work into clear decisions and measurable outcomes. You will help keep leaders aligned through high-quality materials, rigorous governance routines, and closed-loop follow-through that keeps priorities moving. You’ll partner with strategy leaders and finance to strengthen controls, ensure obligations and commitments are documented and met, and provide visibility into budget, expenses, headcount trends, risks, and decision points. If you bring executive presence, intellectual curiosity, a strong financial acumen, and a relentless bias for action, you will have an outsized impact.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Own executive-ready presentations, business reviews, weekly/monthly updates, and ad hoc meeting materials with crisp storylines and decision asks.
  • Translate complex topics into simple, decision-quality narratives that clarify tradeoffs, actions, and next steps for senior leaders and stakeholder forums.
  • Design and run a high-discipline operating cadence, including governance calendars, leadership routines, action/decision logs, and risk/issue tracking with tight follow-through.
  • Ensure strong meeting hygiene through clear agendas, pre-reads, outcomes, owners, timelines, and closed-loop execution.
  • Build and maintain a system to document, track, and manage contractual obligations and commitments; proactively surface upcoming obligations, gaps, risks, and dependencies and drive timely resolution across stakeholders.
  • Streamline and standardize routines, reporting, and decision workflows to increase speed, clarity, and accountability across stakeholders.
  • Lead reporting and data-driven updates that support governance routines and decision-making, synthesizing reporting into insights and recommendations that connect progress to business outcomes.
  • Partner with finance and strategy leadership to manage expense tracking, forecasting, and headcount visibility, highlighting trends, risks, and decision points with strong financial hygiene.
  • Plan and deliver engagement routines (town halls, site visits, partner sessions, workshops) to keep stakeholders aligned, informed, and execution-focused.
  • Leverage AI and LLM-enabled tools to accelerate roadmap development and outcome-based reporting, translating inputs into clear milestones, dependencies, risks, and executive-ready updates.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 6+ years of experience in strategy, business management, strategy and operations, program management, management consulting, chief of staff, or a similar role supporting senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive outcomes in matrixed, multi-stakeholder environments, including influencing without authority across competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to create executive-ready communications, including presentations and business reviews, with clear storylines, decision framing, and tradeoffs.
  • Proven experience running operating cadences (governance calendars, routines, action/decision logs, risk/issue tracking) with strong follow-through.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage contractual obligations and commitments through structured tracking and stakeholder coordination.
  • Experience building repeatable processes and controls, including documentation and continuous improvement across stakeholders.
  • Experience partnering with finance on budget/expense and headcount forecasting and reporting with strong financial hygiene.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to work directly with senior stakeholders across the enterprise; strong relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment, with strong independent execution and an owner mindset.
  • Intermediate proficiency using LLM-enabled tools to develop roadmaps and produce reporting that connects workstreams to measurable business outcomes.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience in management consulting or a similar environment requiring structured problem solving and executive-level storytelling.
  • Demonstrated ability to streamline and re-engineer operating routines for speed, clarity, and accountability.
  • Experience operating at the intersection of strategy and business execution, with strong business context and practical delivery orientation.
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity and comfort navigating ambiguity while driving structure and outcomes.
