We are seeking a Senior Development Operations Engineer focused on build engineering, CI/CD automation, release management, and developer productivity. This individual will own and enhance the build and deployment ecosystem supporting enterprise applications running on AWS.

The ideal candidate is a strong build engineer with deep experience in Ant, Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory, scripting, and release automation.

A Typical Day in the Life Includes:

  • Design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Develop and maintain build frameworks utilizing Ant and Maven.
  • Create and support build, deployment, and release automation processes.
  • Manage artifact lifecycle and repository governance using Artifactory.
  • Develop automation solutions using Shell scripting and related technologies.
  • Improve build performance, reliability, and deployment consistency.
  • Partner with development teams to standardize build and release practices.
  • Implement automated quality gates, security scanning, and release controls.
  • Support deployments into AWS, Docker, and Amazon EKS environments.
  • Troubleshoot complex build, packaging, deployment, and release issues.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of DevOps, Build Engineering, or Release Engineering experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with: 
    • Apache Ant (Required)
    • Maven
    • Jenkins
    • Artifactory
    • Git
  • Strong Shell scripting experience.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale CI/CD platforms.
  • Experience automating deployment and release processes.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AWS.
  • Experience with Docker and Amazon EKS.
  • Experience supporting Kubernetes-based deployments.
  • Experience implementing DevSecOps practices.
  • Experience working within large SaaS environments.
