Senior/Technical QA and Test Engineer

Join us as a Testing Technologist within BPL-CIO as we embark on an exciting period of growth and opportunity within the business, where you will have the opportunity to influence and strategize testing going forward.

 

You will work with the stakeholders including third parties to provide test support capabilities, build excellent test environments and tools and be an enabler. You will incorporate AI to make testing as painless as possible, continually look for resolutions.

 

To be successful as a Testing Technologist, you must have the following essential skills;

• Software engineering and automated testing across APIs, microservices, event flows and data
• Practical AI/GenAI engineering, including LLMs, RAG, agents and evaluation frameworks
• CI/CD, cloud engineering, observability and automated quality gates
• Performance, resilience, security or chaos-testing expertise

 

Some other highly valued skills may include;

• Payments and acquiring domain knowledge.
• Experience with test-strategy-as-code, policy-as-code or continuous controls

 

You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills

 

The successful candidate will be based in London. Our offices are located at 1 Churchill Place and 7 Westferry Circus (new BPL office). We support a hybrid working pattern with 3 days per week office-based presence expected.
