Business Analyst - Financial Services

Join us at Barclays as a Business Analyst - Financial Services - Complex Products, where you'll play a critical role in delivering proposition change across complex investment products within Financial Services. Operating within a dynamic agile model, you will support change initiatives spanning Private Markets, Hedge Funds, and wider investment product offerings while aligning multiple teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

 

To be successful as a Business Analyst - Financial Services - Complex Products, you should have experience with:

 

• Financial Services, with a strong understanding of investment products, operating models, and end-to-end business processes.

• Complex Investment Products, including experience supporting change initiatives involving Private Markets, Hedge Funds, Alternative Investments, or similar investment products.

• Stakeholder management and communication, with the ability to engage effectively across business, operations, product, and technology teams.

• Change delivery, supporting initiatives from discovery through to implementation within a structured project or Agile environment.

 

Some other highly valued skills may include:

 

• Knowledge of the Avaloq platform, particularly supporting change initiatives across investment products and client servicing processes.

• Experience working within Agile methodologies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, user story development, and stakeholder collaboration.

• Background in Private Banking and Wealth Management, although candidates from wider Financial Services environments will also be considered.
