UX Designer

To be successful as UX Designer you should have experience with:

• UX & Product Design: Experience creating user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction designs for digital products. Understanding of human-centred design principles and the design process from discovery through to delivery.
• Collaboration & Communication: Ability to work effectively with product, technology, and business teams. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain design decisions and incorporate feedback.
• Research & Insight: Experience using customer research, usability testing, and analytics to inform design decisions. Ability to identify user needs and translate insights into design improvements.

 

Some other highly valued skills may include:

• Accessibility & Design Systems: Experience working with design systems and reusable UI components. Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design principles.
• Digital Banking or Regulated Environments: Awareness of financial services, digital banking, or other regulated industries. Understanding of security, compliance, and customer trust considerations.
• Growth & Development Mindset: Willingness to learn, seek feedback, and develop design skills. Interest in contributing to design best practice and team collaboration.
