Senior Analyst (Cyber Lead)

Salary: £52,500 depending on experience and skills

 

Role Description:

The team will provide a Run and Maintain and Build support to new innovative tooling to be introduced to BAE Systems. The tooling will be provided by a Software as a Service Provider and will be introduced in Cloud and On Premis configurations to manage user identity, provision of accounts to access the networks and appropriate permissions for many applications that users need during their working day.

Core Duties:

• Set up and look after automated processes that take changes (like configuration, code, or identity integrations) and safely move them into live systems to enable repeatable onboarding of applications into Identity tooling.
• Configure and maintain connectors, APIs and integration patterns between identity platforms and target systems (e.g. HR systems, directories, SaaS applications)
• Perform access provisioning, deprovisioning and identity lifecycle management activities in line with joiner/mover/leaver processes
• Troubleshoot integration, authentication and authorisation issues across identity services and connected systems
• Support platform reliability through monitoring, logging, alerting and continuous service improvement of IGA services
• Liaison with System and Product Owners to assist in onboarding their applications to the IGA tooling offering expert advice to teams with a limited understanding of this functionality

Essential Skills:

• Understanding of Identity and Access Management concepts including RBAC, ABAC, authentication (SSO, MFA), and directory services
• Knowledge of DevOps principles including Configuration Management, infrastructure as code, version control and automated testing
• Awareness of common identity protocols (e.g. SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, LDAP)
• Knowledge of cloud and hybrid identity architectures (e.g. Azure AD / Entra ID, Active Directory)

Shared Services EIT are pleased to announce this opportunity as additional headcount due to growth of a recently developed team focusing on Identity Management.

The role will be part of a wider team which provides service support to new innovative tooling to be introduced to BAE Systems. The tooling will be provided by a Software as a Service Provider and will be introduced in Cloud and On Premise configurations to manage user identity, provision of accounts to access the networks and appropriate permissions for many applications that users need during their working day. This team will provide a DevOps support function for a vital service that is key to updating the BAE approach to Identity for all business areas.
