As a Product Manager in Consumer & Community Banking’s (CCB) Data & Analytics space, you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. As a leader on the team, you leverage your advanced capabilities to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire cross-functional teams create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs.

Data & Analytics is seeking a Product Manager in Product Management, helping to lead Metadata Management,  Data Modeling Solutions. Drive organization wide platform strategy, and user interface development with a focus on large-scale product strategy and ensuring consistent messaging across the firm. The ideal candidate is a platform-oriented product leader with deep experience in cloud native infrastructure and strong understanding of enterprise-scale data systems. 
 

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the product lifecycle for the Datahub-based catalog and lineage platform, focusing on data cataloging, lineage, search, and discoverability.
  • Develop and communicate a clear product roadmap, aligning strategic vision with execution and delivery.
  • Drive platform capabilities and integration with multiple data platforms, applications, and services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across CCB-CDO, sub-line of business partners, cloud platform owners, technical teams, business portfolio leads, product owners, data owners, compliance, security, and governance to understand needs, prioritize features, and ensure regulatory alignment.
  • Manage the technical backlog and prioritize features based on business value, technical feasibility, and stakeholder input.
  • Prototype and validate new features, leveraging hands-on technical skills to demonstrate feasibility and value.
  • Drive product marketing efforts, including demos, presentations, and consistent messaging across diverse portfolios and stakeholder groups.
  • Partner with engineering to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure platform solutions.
  • Embed AI/ML-driven discovery and observability into the product vision and roadmap.
  • Monitor industry trends in data cataloging, metadata management, and data governance to inform product strategy.
  • Lead change management initiatives to drive adoption, foster a culture of data stewardship and literacy, and support organizational transformation.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on data management, cataloging, lineage, or related platforms.
  • Moderate hands-on technical experience (e.g., prototyping, technical feasibility assessments).
  • Strong understanding of data cataloging, lineage, search, and metadata management concepts.
  • Experience with Datahub or similar catalog platforms (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Informatica).
  • Proven ability to bridge business and technical requirements, with excellent communication skills for both audiences.
  • Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including data owners, technical teams, business leads, compliance, security, and governance.
  • Experience in product marketing, including demoing and positioning products to internal and external audiences.
  • Strong grasp of data architecture principles, including APIs, streaming, and lineage.
  • Experience managing technical backlogs and driving consistent messaging across diverse portfolios.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML-driven data discovery or observability.
  • Solution-oriented, practical approach to problem-solving and have the ability to drive change and adoption within large organizations.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience with platform product management (catalog as a service).
  • Experience driving adoption and cultural change for data platforms.
  • Advanced degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Business).
  • Experience with cloud-native data platforms and integration patterns.
