Sales Compensation Senior Strategist

The Sales Compensation Senior Strategist serves as a strategic partner and consultant within Workplace Solutions, leading initiatives that effectively incentivize critical sales behaviors to optimize sales outcomes, sales planning, organizational effectiveness, and business performance. This role partners closely with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex business priorities into actionable strategies, scalable solutions, and measurable outcomes. The position is responsible for leading work end-to-end, from problem definition, analysis, and recommendation development through executive decision-making support, implementation, and ongoing optimization. Success requires exceptional analytical and executive communication skills, strong business and financial acumen, and the ability to influence across functions while balancing strategic objectives, operational excellence, and stakeholder needs.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a strategic consultant to senior leaders, including the Workplace Solutions executive leadership team
• Lead cross-functional initiatives related to sales compensation, sales planning, organizational effectiveness, and business priorities from strategy through implementation.
• Partner across sales, technology, analytics, finance, HR, and operations to drive alignment, compensation governance planning and execution, and business outcomes.
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to develop executive insights, business cases, recommendations, and decision-support materials.
• Evaluate strategic alternatives using data, financial analysis, and business judgment to assess trade-offs, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with business leaders to define and enhance operating models, role expectations, decision rights, performance measures, and accountability frameworks.
• Develop and maintain internal and external networks to identify and validate evolving sales compensation best practices.
• Manage sales plan administration and program governance, project plans, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful delivery.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve governance program effectiveness, scalability, operational efficiency, and sales performance.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training, education, and relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience in sales compensation, sales operations, business operations, strategy, consulting, program management, or a related field.
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives from problem definition through recommendation, implementation, and results measurement.
• Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights and executive-level recommendations.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and communicate effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional partners.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience partnering directly with senior executives to shape strategy and implement business solutions.
• Experience with sales enablement to develop and implement strategies to optimize sales outcomes.
• Experience with sales compensation, incentive compensation, sales planning, revenue operations, workforce planning, or organizational design initiatives.
• Experience within financial services or other highly regulated industries.
• Experience supporting operating model design, role clarity initiatives, accountability frameworks, decision-rights design, or organizational effectiveness programs.
• Experience leading process improvement, transformation, or operational excellence initiatives.
