Description
Overview
We're looking for a highly strategic Principal Program Manager (IC4) to join OCI. This role sits at the intersection of customer storytelling, executive communications, and technical program management, helping bring our products and strategy to life through compelling narratives while driving high-impact AI initiatives across the Product Marketing organization.
You'll partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Corporate Marketing, and executive leadership to develop customer-facing stories, ghostwrite executive communications, and lead complex cross-functional programs that advance our strategic priorities. From scaling AI initiatives across Product Marketing to stepping into critical, time-sensitive projects, you'll provide the structure, judgment, and execution needed to keep teams aligned and deliver results.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable writing an executive keynote, shaping a customer success story, and leading a complex program with multiple stakeholders. You thrive in ambiguity, build consensus across diverse teams, and can translate complex cloud technologies and market trends into clear, credible narratives for executive, technical, and business audiences.
Responsibilities

- Lead the portfolio of AI initiatives designed to accelerate work across the Product Marketing organization, helping define priorities and execution plans in a rapidly evolving and ambiguous landscape.

- Establish program governance, best practices, and reporting to maximize organizational impact and accelerate adoption.
Product Messaging & Customer Storytelling
- Develop, review, and edit customer success stories, web content, and product messaging with minimal guidance.
- Apply deep understanding of cloud computing and enterprise technology to ensure messaging is technically accurate and aligned with product strategy and business priorities.
- Help maintain consistency across customer-facing content and strategic messaging.
Lead Strategic Programs
- Own and drive complex, cross-functional programs that span Product Marketing and partner organizations, bringing structure and clarity to ambiguous, fast-moving initiatives.
- Coordinate multiple concurrent initiatives while maintaining clear priorities, timelines, risks, and executive-level status reporting.
- Serve as the operational lead for time-sensitive strategic projects, rapidly stepping into high-priority initiatives to accelerate execution.
- Manage program dependencies, identify risks early, and drive timely resolution across stakeholders.
Executive Communications & Strategic Storytelling
- Ghostwrite executive blogs, keynote content, presentations, messaging documents, and other executive communications.
- Translate complex cloud technologies, AI capabilities, and market developments into clear, compelling narratives for executive, customer, business, and technical audiences.
- Support leadership in developing strategic messaging that reinforces product differentiation and customer trust.
Responsibilities
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
- 8+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Product Marketing, Technical Marketing, Product Management, or a related strategic role.
- Strong technical understanding of cloud computing, enterprise infrastructure, AI, and emerging technologies.
- Exceptional written communication skills, including executive communications, ghostwriting, customer storytelling, and strategic messaging.
- Experience translating complex technical concepts into compelling narratives for executive, technical, and business audiences.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and influence cross-functional teams while maintaining high quality and attention to detail.
- Strong executive presence with experience presenting program status, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Demonstrated ownership, sound judgment, and the ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional programs involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with a collaborative, customer-focused mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in cloud infrastructure, enterprise software, and AI.
- Background in Product Marketing or Technical Marketing.
