We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative product manager to help build the Sage X3 manufacturing story. You will help drive the Sage X3 product strategy, manufacturing product solutions industry offerings forward to help X3 become the leader in Ai, Automation, Time To Value, ROI delivery for Manufacturing + Distribution businesses. You will need use your manufacturing experiences and customer/market insight to identify new product opportunities and oversee new the delivery of exciting manufacturing solutions into the market. You will also work closely with customers, partners, independent solution vendors, and manufacturing bodies to ensure that we are deliver sets Sage X3 apart in the market.

We are looking for candidates that have a diverse set of skills. This individual needs to have deep knowledge of industry, ERP, and AI. Familiarity with various industries and operational platforms helps in making informed decisions as well as expertise in designing scalable, resilient, and efficient customer solutions. Strategic Planning and Business Acumen as well as strong analytical skills to identify and resolve complex technical customer problems. We are look for excellent communication skills and being able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders is vital.

The successful candidate will support the vision and strategy for Sage X3 in the manufacturing industry verticals which will enable our customers to thrive, delivering the long-term commercial objectives and growth plans.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership: (8 or 10 max)

• Help develop industry leading solutions designed to support customers and their market needs.

• Define and articulate product vision, strategy and manage product requirements in the manufacturing domain.

• Delivery of great products and services driving Sage’s ERP credentials

• You are the expert! Act as the voice of Sage X3’s Manufacturing Strategy

• Be the face of the Sage X3 manufacturing and operations domain inside and outside Sage

• Create, maintain and communicate product roadmaps monthly; perform and document change management in lock step with process.

• Create, define, articulate, and execute a compelling industry vision and strategy for Sage X3.

• Supports collaborative relationships with core and 3rd party integration development partners.

• Coalesces solutions that require multiple stakeholders.

• Presents and represents the company in the broader industry.

• Provides guidance cross-functionally to the organization.

Key performance indicators:

• Category ARR

• Category NCA volume and £’s

• DEI, Attrition, Internal Mobility

• Customer NPS

• Customer contract value

• Renewals

• Customer retention and renewal rate by value

Behavioural Expectations:

• Clear, concise and transparent stakeholder communication driving clarity and promoting trust

• Model / demonstrate informed decision making

Skills, know-how and experience: Must have: (5 or 6 Max)

• Outstanding knowledge of the manufacturing sector.

• Detailed knowledge of either batch-based process or discrete manufacturing. Detailed knowledge of the Food and Beverage, Chemicals or Life Sciences industries is a plus.

• Strong knowledge of the business management needs and challenges faced by customers and competitors in the space.

• Creative thinker that independently generates and executes on innovative marketing ideas

• Commercial understanding and experience launching new cloud offerings and technology products to disrupt markets

• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation or sales experience are a plus.

• Agile Product Management and Development practitioner

• Super-star skills managing multiple projects with very tight deadlines

Technical / professional qualifications:

• Bachelor/Master degree or equivalent (MBA a plus) and 5-7+ years of product management experience.

• Manufacturing Qualification(s) preferred.

• Project Management Qualifications are a plus.

Key stakeholders:

• Cross-functional relationship with Product Management and Product Delivery, Product Marketing, Growth managers and country sales and operational marketing organizations.
