The Principal ERP Consultant is responsible for leading ERP implementation projects, providing expertise in the design, configuration, and deployment of ERP systems. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their business processes, gathering requirements, and ensuring the effective implementation of ERP solutions. The Principal Consultant will lead teams, manage complex project timelines, and ensure that project deliverables align with client objectives. 

A Typical Day in the Life Includes:

  • Lead ERP implementation projects from initiation through to delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets  with 12-15 Yrs of Experience.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional specifications for ERP solutions and configure and customize ERP systems to meet client requirements 
  • Oversee system testing, including the development and execution of test plans 
  • Provide guidance on best practices and ensure adherence to industry standards during the implementation process 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including client stakeholders and technical teams, to ensure alignment and project success 
  • Manage and mentor junior consultants, providing leadership and guidance on complex tasks 
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor for their ERP needs 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in ERP implementations, with a background in system configuration, integration, and testing 
  • Experience leading ERP projects, including managing teams and client relationships 
  • Experience with business processes related to ERP modules (e.g., finance, supply chain, manufacturing, HR) 
  • Experience in identifying business requirements, designing solutions, and managing full lifecycle implementations 
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with integration tools and platforms (e.g., Cloud-based ERP suites, middleware, or EDI platforms) 
  • Experience with Cloud Infrastructure or Cloud Applications (SaaS) 
  • Experience supporting organizations through change management processes during ERP implementations 
  • Project management experience, including familiarity with methodologies like Agile or Waterfall 
  • Advanced certification in ERP solutions
