Consultant, Principal - Syteline

Infor is seeking an experienced Consultant, Principal - Syteline to lead enterprise-scale Infor Syteline ERP implementations, rollouts, enhancements, and support engagements. The ideal candidate will possess deep techno-functional expertise across manufacturing business processes and Syteline architecture, along with strong development experience in .NET technologies. This individual will act as a trusted advisor to customers, drive solution design, lead complex implementations, mentor team members, and support global customer transformation initiatives.

A Typical Day in the Life Includes:

• Lead end-to-end Infor Syteline implementation, upgrade, rollout, and support projects.
• Partner with customers to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable ERP solutions.
• Design, configure, and optimize Syteline solutions aligned to manufacturing business processes.
• Provide techno-functional leadership across multiple workstreams and customer engagements.
• Develop and support customizations, extensions, and integrations within the Syteline ecosystem.
• Conduct solution workshops, fit-gap analysis, system demonstrations, UAT support, training sessions, and go-live activities.
• Troubleshoot complex application, integration, and production issues.
• Create solution designs, technical documentation, and customer presentations.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to best practices, reusable assets, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Basic Qualifications:

Functional Expertise

• 10-15+ years of experience working with Infor Syteline ERP.
• Strong understanding of Manufacturing and Supply Chain business processes.
• Experience supporting: 
  • Discrete Manufacturing
  • Repetitive Manufacturing
  • Process Manufacturing
  • Production Planning
  • Inventory Management
  • Procurement and Order Management
• Good understanding of manufacturing models such as: 
  • Make-to-Order (MTO)
  • Make-to-Stock (MTS)
  • Variant Configuration

Technical Expertise

• Strong hands-on development experience in: 
  • .NET
  • C#
  • SQL
  • Oracle
• Experience developing new customizations and enhancing existing Syteline solutions.
• Strong understanding of database design and performance optimization.
• Experience integrating Syteline with third-party applications and enterprise systems.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical and functional issues.

Leadership & Consulting Expectations

• Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for customers.
• Drive solution architecture discussions and recommend best practices.
• Lead customer workshops and requirement-gathering sessions.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Display critical thinking in evaluating business processes and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Independently manage customer-facing engagements and stakeholder communications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience leading global ERP implementation programs.
• Exposure to multi-site manufacturing environments.
• Experience working directly with customer leadership teams.
• Prior consulting experience within ERP implementation or managed services organizations.
• Infor Syteline certifications are desirable.
