Some of the work that makes us proud

·       Helping law enforcement through secure intelligence systems that support UK safety.

·       Supporting the UK’s national meteorological service to leverage supercomputers for next-generation weather forecasting.

·       Assisting the government department responsible for consumer product safety with systems that track unsafe products.

·       Powering systems that help government monitor and reduce greenhouse gas emissions from commercial transport.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Lead PMO to establish and lead effective portfolio, programme and project governance across complex business change, finance transformation, technology and digital delivery environments.

This is a senior, client-facing role for someone who can bring structure, pace and clarity to complex programmes. You will work closely with C-level and senior stakeholders, including Chief Digital and Information Officers (CDIOs), Finance Directors, Programme Directors and senior leadership teams. You will turn detailed delivery, financial and risk information into concise insight that supports timely decisions.

Previous experience supporting a finance transformation programme is highly desirable. This may include finance operating model change, ERP or finance systems implementation, improvements to financial controls, budgeting and forecasting, management reporting, data and process redesign, or wider finance-led business change.

You will be expected to communicate confidently, build trusted relationships quickly, provide constructive challenge and adapt your approach to the maturity and needs of each client environment.
