Join us as a Product Manager- Value Added Services- BPL - You will be responsible for shaping and growing Barclaycard Payments' Value Added Services portfolio, including solutions such as merchant finance, FX and cross-border capabilities, account-to-account payments, and partner-led value-added propositions.

 

This is an opportunity to help shape the future product strategy of a rapidly evolving payments business, bringing new revenue streams, partnerships, and customer propositions to market.

 

To be successful as a Product Manager, you must have the following essential skills;

Product Strategy & Commercial Delivery

  • Ability to define product vision, build business cases, prioritise investment, and deliver measurable customer and commercial outcomes.

Strategic Delivery & Stakeholder Leadership

  • Proven track record of leading complex product initiatives from discovery through launch, aligning stakeholders and managing delivery across multiple teams

Payments Domain Expertise

  • Excellent understanding of payments products, customer journeys, industry trends, and regulatory considerations within merchant acquiring, acceptance, or transaction services.

 

Some other highly valued skills may include;

Foreign Exchange (FX) & Cross-Border Payments

  • Experience developing or managing FX, multi-currency, cross-border acceptance, or international payments products and propositions.

Data-Driven Product Management

  • Ability to leverage customer, market, and performance data to identify opportunities, measure outcomes, and inform product decisions.

Partner & Ecosystem Management

  • Experience working with external partners, fintechs, schemes, processors, or third-party providers to develop and scale product capabilities.

 

You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills

 

The successful candidate will be in Northampton, alternatively our offices in London.

 

This role is 3 days per week office-based presence expected.
