This Bid Engineering Lead will be working across various defence products and technologies for the Electronic Warfare business division. We are looking for an experienced engineering manager to work alongside a team of Bid Managers to produce technically compliant solutions and compelling proposals for a wide range of domestic and export customers. The PEL is responsible for providing teams with clear expectations of the engineering outcomes, ensuring that they operate consistently within the Policies & Procedures and to foster the improvement goals defined by the Engineering Function. The Bid Engineering Lead is the primary technical point of contact for bids, responsible for leading a team of engineers and subject matter experts to produce engineering delivery schedules, cost estimates, and input into technical bid documentation. in the creatation of Bid/Tender deliverables and estimation
What you’ll bring
The candidate will need to bring an ability to organise work packages together with team members, be a good communicator both upwards and downwards and be prepared to review and replan when issues arise during a complex bid programme.
